I recently stayed at the Life Story Guest House for 7 nights during my visit to Nepal. It was the perfect place to stay as it provided a unique experience in a historical building. The low ceilings gave the room a cozy atmosphere, and the gas heater provided by the staff kept me warm throughout the night. The breakfast was ample and delicious, and the masala tea was the best I had during my entire trip. The location was ideal, close to Patan Durbar Square and a new shopping mall. The staff, especially Trishna, Rabi, and Bikash, were outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Thank you again!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I had so much fun renting a bike and exploring the old city! The staff spoiled me with their impeccable service. And guess what? They even offer babysitting! Great for when you need some time away from the kids.
Oh, how I loved being awakened by the early morning pray at the nearby temple. It was so soothing.

Centrally located, walking distance to attractions. Hospitable staff, allowed us to rest in a vacant room until check-in. Well-kept apartment, felt like a home away from home. Helpful with laundry and local recommendations. Grateful for their hospitality and would recommend.

The roll-in shower, hairdryer, and toiletries were very handy. The hotel is located in a quiet area. We will definitely come back. It's just a short distance to explore Patan district. We also enjoyed being close to the lake in the evening, which was only 900 feet away from the venue.

The staff, including Trishna, Robbie1, and Robbie2, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. They were incredibly helpful and kind, and Trishna's food is an absolute must-try. The location was perfect, right near Durbar Square, yet quiet and peaceful in a temple courtyard. Our room was spacious and full of character, with a lovely view of the courtyard. The staff provided a heated blanket and heater, ensuring our comfort. They were also knowledgeable about travel information and recommended great restaurants. The rooftop breakfast was fantastic, especially the porridge. We were even offered a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Life Story Guest House provided one of the most hospitable experiences we have ever had while traveling.
Nothing could have been better. 👌

I had the most delightful stay at this charming guest house. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the beautiful old building and its residential courtyard setting. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony where I could relax and soak in the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious coffee and breakfast with a stunning view. Although the WiFi on the rooftop was slightly unstable, it didn't detract from my overall experience. I highly recommend this guest house and would definitely return if I visit Patan again. I had a wonderful and memorable stay at Life Story Guest House.

I recently stayed at Life Story Guest House for three nights during a leisure trip. The guest house, housed in a beautiful historical building, exuded charm and character. The low ceilings added to the unique atmosphere, although taller guests may want to take note. The lack of central heating was compensated by the efficient gas heater provided by the staff. The rooftop patio offered a picturesque setting for breakfast, which was delicious. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the service provided by the friendly and helpful staff was exceptional. The location, right on a square with a temple and children playing, added to the overall ambiance.
Would recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming boutique hotel. The value for money was fantastic - stylish rooms with comfy beds and amazing staff who went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The location was perfect, close to historic Patan Durbar Square and a new shopping mall. The courtyard was peaceful, with a beautiful temple and local kids playing outside. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy tea and cake on arrival.
The only thing that could have made breakfast even better would be a wider selection of options.

The rooms at The Life Story Guest House are amazing! They have a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, and slippers. It feels so nice to have everything I need right there. Some of the rooms even have a seating area where you can just relax and unwind. It's like having your own little cozy corner in the room. I love that each of the large rooms is fitted with wooden flooring. It adds a touch of warmth and makes the room feel so inviting. And of course, the fact that there are slippers and free toiletries provided is such a thoughtful gesture. It's like they really care about the comfort of their guests.
Personally, I wish there was a bathtub instead of just a bath or shower. But hey, that's just my preference.

We got great value for our money at the Life Story Guest House. The room was spacious and full of character, with a beautiful view of the courtyard. The location was perfect, close to Durbar Square but still quiet. The staff were excellent, always helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety. But it was such a small thing in an otherwise great hotel experience.
